Erin O'Neill

Art was, and continues to be, a constant source of solace and expression, allowing the mind to explore its environment and analyze information in a critical manner. I work in a variety of mediums, including drawing, painting, photography, video, and sculpture. I grew up in Maryland, splitting time between two households in Olney and Frederick. Currently, I am completing an art major at Elmira College in New York.

My central purpose as an artist is to infuse my audience with a fresh sense of humanity. I take a dualistic approach with this goal in mind, sometimes depicting uncomfortable scenes from society, sometimes depicting moments of beauty. However, whether by shock, by delight, or by humor, my aim is always to remind the viewer that we are all flawed and that we are all capable of sympathy and joy.
